CompareMerge is a software tool for file comparison and merging text-like files. It is useful for determining what has changed between versions and then merging changes between versions.
In the text file comparison mode, CompareMerge will also provide you with yet another useful feature: an inline editor that makes it painless to add content to any of the loaded files, right within the comparison window.
Comparing two folders is the other extra tool that CompareMerge comes with, a tool that makes it quite simple to get a quick overview of all the differences between two folders of your choice.
CompareMerge displays the files contained in both folders in the same list and it stamps them with a “Left only”, “Right only”, “Files are identical” or “Files are different” result to let you know exactly where each can be found and if it has as counterpart in the other folder.
